Known Issues

Upon a clean Nobara installation, with Nvidia hardware the nouveau driver is loaded. On older cards, after logging into a Wayland session this can cause the screen to freeze before the Nvidia driver detection script has a chance to run. If this happens follow the steps below:

1. Reboot the system
2. At the login screen, in the session drop-down choose either GNOME (X11) or Plasma (X11), then login.
3. The Nvidia driver detector should now be able to run. Install the Nvidia drivers per the prompts, then reboot again.
4. At the login screen, in the session drop-down you can now choose GNOME (Wayland) or Plasma (Wayland), then login and the freeze should no longer occur.

How can we help?
